# How do I unsubscribe a contact from a newsletter?

Learn how to unsubscribe a contact from a newsletter below.

1. Click *Contact/Contacts*.
2. Click *Filter*.
3. Enter the name or part of the name of the contact you want to unsubscribe in the *Keyword* field. Yawave will automatically filter the results on the left side of your screen. You can also select the Publication you want to filter on from the *Publications* drop-down menu.
4. Once you have located and identified the contact you want to unsubscribe, click the three dot menu located on the same row as the contact you want to unsubscribe.
5. Click *Unsubscribe*. **Note:** yawave automatically unsubscribes the contact and moves the contact to the *Unsubscribed* list.
