    Configure Compliance Settings

    1. Click Administrate/Settings/Compliance.

    2. The Permission type has three options. Click the option you want to use for your application:

    • Single Opt-In
    • Confirmed Opt-In
    • Double Opt-In
    1. Enter the text you want to use to entice a visitor to subscribe to your list in the Purpose field. Note: This field has a 92 character limit.

    2. Configure the Permission Parameters using the instructions below.

    • Your privacy policy label
    • Your privacy policy link
    1. Configure the Permission Text using the instructions below.
    • Enter your privacy terms for subscribers who do not need to confirm they have read the privacy in the Permission text without checkmark field. To require subscribers to confirm they have read your privacy policy, enable the Permission checkmarks setting below. Note: This field has a 127 character limit and will not require subscribers to confirm your policy.
    • By default the Permission checkmarks setting is disabled. Click once to enable this setting. If enabled, subscribers are required to confirm your message (shown in Permission text with checkmark below).
    • Enter your privacy terms for subscribers who do not need to confirm they have read the privacy in the Permission text without checkmark field. To require subscribers to confirm they have read your privacy policy, enable the Permission checkmarks setting below. Note: This field has a 127 character limit and will not require subscribers to confirm your policy.
    • Enter the text you want subscribers to see next to the checkmark in the Permission error message. This setting is only relevant if you enabled Permission checkmarks above.
    1. By default the Inherit compliance settings are disabled. When disabled (the default setting), you can set unique compliance settings for all applications you created in Yawave. If this setting is enabled, the compliance settings you configured above will be the same for all applications you create in Yawave. Click once to enable this setting.

    2. Click Save.
